Yes Civilization VI features Global Warming, but in terms of an overall climate perspective it could be a bit less ... utilitarian.
The same applies to Rainforests. Why keep them at all? For defense boni. Perhaps. Or turn them to farmland!
And marshes. Civilization VI (2016) does not seem to know their CO2-draining function in the ecosystem. This still proclaims the terraforming impetus inherited from its first predecessor Civ I of 25 years before.
A bit further down the manual, it becomes quite clear that as Civilization advances, nature has to go. You have to feed your people, don't you?
But as all Civilitation titles since II (1996), Civilization VI (2016) still offers a solution to one decisive environmental problem: nuclear fallout! Well, you can't have a decent thermonuclear war if you could not clean up afterwards, can you?
