Second, everyone reading the same text to build knowledge rather than personalized learning and choice reading.
Third, assigned seating plans rather than law of the jungle seating plans.
Fourth, textbooks! Students probably experience a well-sequences curriculum with lots of opportunities for retrieval practice.
