Here’s what this series has “revealed” so far (and I put reveal in quotation marks because much of this stuff is well-known):

1. Phoenix PD are liars: https://twitter.com/DaveBiscobing15/status/1359674082082529283
—Doug McBride lied, under oath, about ACAB being a criminal street gang.

— The officers who arrested Bruce lied about his “crimes” (as the body worn camera shows). In fact, one of the officers that Bruce purportedly assaulted never mentions an assault or Bruce in his report!
The officers on the scene of Bruce’s arrest also lied about a one-armed woman allegedly assaulting them.

I. Just. Can’t.
2. MCAO are liars

— All of this testimony was elicited, in court, by prosecutors who know better.

But they’re also biased.
The charges are also being brought by DCA, April Sponsel. 85% of her cases from 2013-2018 were against BIPOC.

She works in a highly-politicized Bureau, dedicated to litigating cases on behalf of cops.

So, no selective prosecution of the cops political opponents at all!
What’s the motive for these prosecutions?

(1) The folx featured in this series are political opponents of the Dept and MCAO. These folx are calling to defund police. They’re calling for accountability. They worked on the campaign to unseat Adel.

And (2) Phoenix PD is racist.
This series revealed that Phoenix PD commemorated violence against a protester by memorializing it on a coin using a recycled Neo-Nazi slogan.
These same cops who created, kept, and shared this coin are the ones targeting, arresting, and helping to prosecute BLM protesters.
These arrests and prosecutions are— and have always been— politically motivated and biased.

That’s why we’ve insisted on calling them political prosecutions.
Political prosecutions are tools fascist governments use to silence and intimidate critics.

They’re tools of Phoenix PD and MCAO.

This shit needs to end now.

P.S. apparently there’s more to come with this series and I can’t wait to see what else is exposed
