[1/4] Here's a quick look at SIX offerings of Black Cherry Punch grown across Canada by (L->R): North40 @40Cannabis (SK), Flowr @FlowrCanada (BC), Elios/ MediWanna (ON), -Ness @exploreyourness/ @bzamcannabis (BC/AB), Edison @TheEdisonCo/ @discoverOGI (NB), & Figr @FIGRinc (PE).
[2/4] I see multiple offerings of the same cultivar not as a sign of a crowded market but instead the sign of a maturing one. We can now begin to compare & contrast cannabis like we do with beer and wine, and appreciate the different qualities of expressions of similar genetics.
[3/4] IMHO, North40 and Flowr were tied for top-quality – both had beautiful aromas of tart cherry & fruit and showed well-developed green & purple buds, nice trichomes and okay M.C. -Ness' buds were nicer than Elios', which was bone-dry & underweight - aroma was faint with both.
[4/4] On the lower-end were offerings from Edison & Figr. Sadly, there was no detectable aroma from either – they are what I would call "dead weed". Edison featured small popcorn buds while the Figr buds were thin and included an ugly stem - both were the lowest priced.
