Progressivism's core belief in equality - its only value, sounds Christian. Equality denies the fact we are all individual creations of God, some have more talents that others and not everyone can play the some role.
In the Christian faith, every life is made in the image of God and is valuable. However this does not mean we are all equal. Equality is a denial of the God-given talents which make us valuable.
Equality is another false god, another idol modern people worship in an attempt to give their life purpose and meaning. Equality is the last-ditch attempt by the modern man to find a soul. Like every other lost cause, the goal of equality is impossible and ultimately degrading
