Well if you don’t know them, I’m going to introduce them to you, This is Henry Kissinger, he served as United States secretary of state in the administration of Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford, he was part of the Republican Party
This is Richard Nixon, the 37th President of the United Estates of America, during the period of 1953-1961, he also was part of the Republican Party
And finally I’ll introduce this person: Augusto Pinochet, a military dictator who led Chile to a military coup in 1973 and deposed President Salvador Allende.
Now, have you heard about “Operation Condor”? if you don’t I’ll tell you, operation condor was a dictatorial coordination plan to eradicate communism and impose fascist regimens throughout Latino America and establishing a military dictatorship between 1973 and 1990 in Chile.
This operation was actively supported by the CIA, and it executed with the DINA (National Intelligence Directorate) and later called CNI (National Information Center); and the Chilean Armed Forces.
This operation was the excuse for a multiple of human rights violations during the dictatorship, such as torture, murder, rapes, abuse, disappearance to at least 2000 people confirmed so far, but Chileans know that there is many more people.
The types of crimes committed in this period were just terrible, to people who attended to protest, kids,older people,students, professors, recognized musicians, street musicians, doctors, nurses, and anyone who was affiliated to a left-wing political party
To execute this,there where “torture centers” and the crimes committed there was inhuman. Other place where those crimes were committed was “El Estadio Nacional” and if you want to know more about this I recommend to you the documentary Massacre at the Stadium on Netflix
The Dictatorship caused many deaths and torture, people had to scape, others lost their families and never found justice,

The saddest thing about all this is that not only in Chile happened this, this plan operated in all of Latin America.And still active And now, how is this related with Republicans?Well, the mastermind of all this were your admirables republicans, Richard Ford and Henry Kissinger.
You Republicans aren’t persecuted for your political views, you support a fascist government, which has imposed a totalitarian ideology to the whole world and Chileans have not been it’s only victims.
So next time you think you are being persecuted bc of your political views pick a fucking history book and learn who were actually persecuted for their political views
