A couple books..."The Black Panthers: Portraits from an Unfinished Revolution" by @YohuruWilliams & Bryan Shih is a gorgeous collection of photos & interview with members of the Black Panthers. Perfect to use with students to begin a research project.
The ultimate survey of the history of the Black Panthers with a ton of excellent material on Fred Hampton is Joshua Bloom and Waldo E. Martin's "Black Against Empire: The History and Politics of the Black Panther Party."
