can we have a proper conversation about the depth of hinata hyuga’s character because y’all hate on the girl for being shy and quiet but ignore the fact that it’s a trauma response from the emotional abuse and child neglect she dealt with since since she was a toddler
blow this up because we need to have this discussion. now. “hinata is just a typical shy waifu.” funny you say that because when hinata was twelve fucking years old she said that naruto is the sole reason she wants to stay alive. do you understand what that means?
if it wasn’t for naruto, this twelve yr old girl would have killed herself. why? she’s abused. her family hates her. her abuse was presented to us, and as a result she was insecure in her abilities and became timid as a trauma response.
despite her being abused, what did she do? she still tried to prove her family wrong. “hinata’s purpose is to be naruto’s love interest” no, you idiot. it’s to become strong and prove her family wrong, she which has said herself. naruto only gave her strength to keep going.
and what did you do after watching the episodes of her getting abused? ignore it. “hinata is quiet? oh, it’s because she’s just there for fan service. a typical submissive wife with no backstory or depth whatsoever.”
