asians have been attacked in public for the fact that people believe that we have brought over covid. this was especially perpetuated when trump blamed the virus on china. since then, there has been an increase in attacks and hate crimes towards the asian community.
— On January 28th, a 84 year old Thai resident of the bay area has passed after being assaulted by a 19 year old shoved him into the ground when all he was doing was walking towards a driveway.

— On Jan. 31st, a 91 yr old man, 60 yr old man and 55yr old woman were attacked my the same man on the same day. ON THE SAME DAY. recently there has been over 20 robberies and attacks in the oakland in the past two weeks. if there is something that i missed, please let me know. i hope that i was able to share with everyone that these things have gone on for a while. the articles i shared today may be recent but there has been a lot of attacks dating before these.
