If I may quickly pause to defuse a live grenade I see in that last string of RTs:

The word "bisexual" is not, in fact, actually used by anyone I have ever seen to mean "I am attracted to men and women but not non-binary people." That's a weird strawman bigots tossed out to sow
infighting. I HAVE seen it used by someone who did not want to call herself pansexual because she wasn't interested in men, but also didn't want to call herself a lesbian because she's not exclusively into women.

Which is just one of the many personal reasons that people choose
any of a vast array of terms to refer to their own sexuality (with the reasoning in that last thread also being absolutely valid).

So, don't police people's language. In fact, really, try to avoid doing any policing of any kind if you can help it.

This message brought to you by
a woman who really is that paranoid about some jerk with a screwed up set of priorities potentially derailing a very important thread about how so much as saying a single vaguely positive thing about trans people makes a horde of British nazis suddenly jump down your throat with
an axe to grind.
