@CORE_Vault announced $DELTA last night and it sent shocks through the $CORE community.

A thread of ups and downs 👇
/12. Initial community reaction to @Delta_Token was negative đŸ€Ź. Article failed to assure in plain English that $CORE token & LP holders are still the primary focus of @CORE_Vault team. Took hundreds of Q&A with devs in tg for ppl to regain hope that $CORE is opposite of ded
/12. Ppl expected surprise announcement to take $CORE parabolic. It had the exact opposite reaction: massive dump. Not bc “sell the news”, but bc it wasn’t clear how $DELTA would benefit $CORE token holders. Throughout the night, sentiment changed to 👍 and bleeding slowed down.
/12. LPs dumped bc ppl thought 1. rebasing LPs (rLPs) were a $DELTA feature only and 2. $CORE LPs would be stuck with lower volume and even lower APY. Fortunately $CORE LPs will migrate to rLPs, but volume depends on the success AND timeline of coreDEX and $DELTA
/12. LP1 liquidity dropped by 60% on Balancer, price dropped from 2 $ETH to 0.7 and back to 0.98. Liquidity is back, with all 3 LPs hovering around 75% discount. I believe LPs will migrate to a universal $CORE rLP on #coreDEX, but lots of details remain unknown
/12. I see @Delta_Token as a project with its own community, token, liquidity, rLPs, and even a separate team working on the futures/options platform. $DELTA rLPs do not dilute $CORE LPs as some have said. This is very bullish for $CORELP, and it all comes together in #coreDEX
/12. Community sentiment is fractioned and CT turned into a PR disaster. Lots of FUD in tg made admins stricter and some CT ppl got banned, you can imagine the shit show that followed. Either bc they are jealous, bitter, or didn’t do research, some influencers are going rogue đŸ˜±
/12. “Biggest announcement of my life” tweet by Revert is true. The mechanics of $DELTA & rLPs are of a mathematical complexity that few comprehend. The potential for success is mind blowing. However, this didn’t go well with $CORE holders bc they think it only applies to $DELTA
/12. So what’s next? Unfortunately this new direction means $CORE will not go parabolic as we were expecting. We’re back in waiting mode, and the devs’ reluctance to be accountable with progress and timeline is going to continue to push the price down. Accumulation time again

/12. My position now is still 100% LPs and I was able to take advantage of the arb opportunities and increase my holdings. Personal target is 0.7$ETH for LP1, 0.3 for LP2, 0.020 for LP3. Waiting for #coreDEX release before I buy $CORE token (mainly friends/family wallets)
/12. As for the future of $CORE, I’m as bullish as I’ve ever been, especially about rLPs (!!). Last night was an emotional rollercoaster, but there are some brilliant minds in $CORE community who make up for many of us not understanding complex concepts (CK, Chase, Pavel, etc.)
/12. If you’re interested in $CORE, I’d recommend researching the code and the tech and investing based on that. You’ll have to accept the devs the way they are and not project your idea of how they should interact with the community. If you can get past that, you’re family.
/12. That’s it. I left a lot of things out, and the upcoming Medium articles are going to clarify many questions the community has.

As always... $CORE LPs strong together.
