THREAD:
1) Hi. I posted a thread, which I have since deleted, where I said, right up front, that it was not my writing, that I had stolen it from friend on FB, who'd gotten it from a friend of theirs, who had *maybe* attributed it to someone named Jim Wright.
2) That was the info I had about its authorship when I posted it. I liked the sentiment expressed, & knew that while I wanted to share it, I d/n want to try to claim it as mine. So, I *d/n*. I *expressly disclaimed* all credit for having written it. It w/n my work, & I said so.
3) Then a lot of people liked it, but a vocal few insisted that since the suthor, who is, in fact, Jim Wright, is on Twitter, as @Stonekettle, I should delete the thread, and apologize. I have complied. The thread is now deleted.
4) I do hereby apologize profusely to Mr. Wright, for NOT having stolen his work, for having had the audacity to have liked & shared it, & for giving him as much credit for it as I knew how to do at the time that I shared it. I am more than happy to give credit where it's due,...
5) and it is due, here. But I d/n appreciate people acting like I didn't try to give credit, or like I just stole it & said it was my own work. I did not do that. So. The thread is gone, that's my apology. I assume the same vocal few will want to rip me to shreds for it. Have at.
6) @Stonekettle - I had no intention of stealing anything from you. I apologize to you, only, for the inconvenience of having to read this.
