This is mainly due to the fact he gets to play them more.

Both get a fair share of their stat pad sessions. But it's better to compare them in tournaments.

I know a lot of Messi fans are going to question the tournament stats because they're different on Messi vs Ronaldo app. I counted CR7's assists number as 8 because he has 6 in Euros on official site + 2 in WC.

And 3 UNL SF goals (excluded Sweden qualifying goals and games).

I added 180 minutes to his tournament minutes from Messi vs Ronaldo app for his 2 UNL games vs Switzerland and Netherlands in the 18/19 win.

Didnt add qualifying games played this season however adding 20/21 UNL qualifying games still gives him a better minutes per goal
