Group of critics is claimed to undermine democracy. Public health agency couldn't conceal their thrill. Neither could influencers backing up 🇸🇪strategy.

PHA retweeted one of them & answered tweet fr another saying they're concerned for "spread of desinformation (!) & had to act
Former general secretary for the Swedish Bar Association, Anne Ramberg, writes that the memebers should be named, in the "public interest".

This in a country where convicted victims are NOT named & shamed.
I haven't used fb for years. I've been on Twitter under my own name w my own views despite the personal risk speaking out about various issues that tear our society apart.

I've never felt more unsafe than the recent days. I locked my account. I even blocked several followers.
Because aside fr the above, I've had 2 highly unpleasent confrontations during the past week all because of my views. Because I wear a mask during a raging pandemic!
SR claims the group want to "influence" 🇸🇪. @MediaWatchSwe is claimed to want to try the government legally. OK??
If citizens can't speak their mind and can't hold their elected officials accountable, do we stil have a democracy? If citizens stop trying to influence their government by writing & publishing their views, afraid for retaliation, what does that say about our society?
What should citizens in 🇸🇪do while over 100 die/day in a tiny country? When 160k are longterm sick? When our PM claims they haven't done anything wrong & won't change course? When critics are officially shamed in media? Shouldn't they try to influence anyway they can? In fact,
isn't it their duty to democracy to do so? What happens when public service is highly skewed in favor of those in power? Shouldn't citizens try getting their voice heard in international media? The same media 🇸🇪is happy to be featured in w fairytale stories about fika & forests?
When influencers on the side of power are rewarded medals, research grants & GBD clowns honorary doctorates while people are dying en masse, isn't it deeply disturbing? Is it the media's job to investigate private citizens who haven't broken any laws?
When elderly are discussed in terms of "dry tinder" & euthanised, doesn't this deserve a historic context?

4 years ago now I was part of a female doc #MeToo group on facebook. The group was secret & even changed name every few days to avoid detection.
The same doctor's journal that's now keen on publishing debates of GBD signees didn't want to publish us aside from a heavily downsized redacted waterdown version.

Past week has been demoralizing. I have no words left for everyone defending the ongoing madness. #bytStrategiNu
