Writers block. It happens to the best of us. You go to write something and you come up blank. You want to type but "Never gonna give you up" is playing over and over in your head and you can't get past it. We've all hit that wall.
It begs the question, how do you beat writers block?
Well, for starters, you can put on your hardhat, grab your trusty jackhammer, and smash through that wall. Blast past it by typing words until something sticks. Write and write and write until inspiration strikes like lightning 🌩
Or, write like an 8th grader. Not that they aren’t smart. 8th graders don’t use terms like “become a disruptor” that make your reader question every decision they’ve made in life that have led to the moment they had to read that sentence.

Ditch the jargon.
Or you can write to the reader.

In order to beat writers block you can envision how you’d tell your story to an actual person. Because believe it or not, you, (yes, you) ARE telling a story to someone. That person is the reader. Speak to them.
Write with a purpose.

Set the purpose of your article at the top of the page.

“Help people beat writers block”.

You’ve got a North Star now. Write to that. That purpose statement will help keep your mind on target while you write.
Those are some of our tips for beating writers block. But we know there are more ways to defeat this enemy of productivity.

So now we’re asking you. What do you do to beat writers block?
