1. With the impeachment trial resuming, it's worth reflecting on the huge differences between the House managers (professional, focused, convincing) and Trump's lawyers (meandering, incoherent & threatening). But also that the bad legal team will win & Trump won't be convicted
2. The sheer badness of Trump's legal team reflects not just his trouble getting good lawyers or the weakness of his case but also his contempt for democracy & reasoned discourse. "I can shoot someone on Fifth Ave & my voters will love me" logic.
