The vicious cycle is that we should make room for women to be involved in this culture but once they get involved men make it a habit to make women uncomfortable being there.

The idea is that the space is open and accepting for anyone to be a part of it as long as you’re skilled

I can’t tell you the amount of times I’ve seen women talk about being told they were only getting attention for their looks, or dealing with predatory men.

The accountability should be on men to create a sense of safety AND inclusion in the spaces we share.

Check your friends when you see them doing/saying suspect shit. Believe women, and allow room for their perspective if they’re calling your attention to something.
