In our virtual reporting workshop earlier @BBCAcademy trainer Mark shared some top tips to help create content.

First reminde..."you don’t have to spend a lot of money on lighting and sound equipment, you might already have things around the house you can use!"
➡️ The hands-free headphones you get with your mobile phone has a really good microphone that you can use
➡️ You can record the audio on your phone and add it to the video when you’re editing it
➡️ Always test the sounds and video quality first before doing the real thing
➡️ Put your phone on silent and in airplane mode before you record video or audio so you don’t get interrupted half-way through!
➡️ If you wear glasses take them off if possible so there is no reflection in your eyes
➡️ Lots of video sharing platforms have their own music library
And did you know @BBC has a free sounds effects library for non-commercial content use ⬇️ https://sound-effects.bbcrewind.co.uk/
