Modivcare recently called a third "strike" against my friend because of a clerical error on their end. Now she may lose services for 3 months.
Sen. Claxton was careful not to let the hearing devolve into Modivcare complaints, and I can see why, but it's hard to think about expanding health-related services without examining what exists now.
Which is a system that literally leaves people in the cold. A system that punishes clients for its own shortcomings by withholding access to the very medical care it's supposed to be making accessible.
