Here's 5 things you must be doing to build the best community.

(You're not doing all of these and it shows.)

Pick one social platform.

Spend 80% of your time there.

This should be your favorite platform to work on.

You will be willing to put in the work and will gain the most followers.

Use this network to shine light on your other platforms.
Build other platforms.

10,000 followers on one network is great.

But it's better to have 10,000 followers on 3 different networks.

Use your main network to highlight these other platforms.
Don't post the same things on all platforms.

You want your community to follow you on all networks.

So you must post different content in each place.

This gives them a reason to follow you everywhere.
Building an email list.

Your email list is the most important thing for community building.

The email list allows you to stay in contact without being blocked by algorithms.

Also if you were to lose an account, you still a way to contact your people.
Engaging on all platforms.

Don't negate engaging with comments on your secondary platforms.

This helps build a solid community all around.

So many miss this important step.
A community is better than a following.

People feel connected when they are in a community.

Don't let your people feel disconnected.
Your timeline will benefit from sharing this.

Retweet the first post so your community doesn't miss out.
