Good Morning Comrades. When I was very young, the stark reality of our system was right in face daily. We were poor, and my father worked 60+ hour weeks and we were still poor. His bosses would come to town, rich men dressed nicely and who only worked in offices and told him
to work harder so the company could make more money. So he did. Meanwhile, at school, I got made fun of for hand-me-downs, thrift shopped clothes, and free lunches. The children who did this were all kids of the well off technicians and farmers in our area.
My friends growing up were the other poor kids, the Hispanic kids in my parish, whose parents worked the potato and wheat fields for the parents of my tormentors. We stuck together, and to this day I identify with working class people of all races and creeds as my Comrades.
Where am I going with this? Racism and classism were ingrained in those kids from day one. I am white and thus wasn't called the terrible names of my Hispanic friends, and I will remember their taunts till the day I die. Smash the racist and classist system of capital. Destroy it
