I posted about people knowing the fundamentals of the faith and how important it is. I've even posted about how a ton of young people are becoming spiritual authorities on line w/o accountability and from what i can tell, any real connection to a healthy church community.
A young YouTuber who deals mostly with politics has 1.43 million followers released a video stating that Jesus isn't God. I believe he recently came out stating he was a christian. However, his base for his claims about Jesus were just fundamentally clumsy and even arrogant.
I am concerned for this generation and becoming more concerned about Gen Z. Both generations are gifted but I get concerned about many who can be easily swayed by video content. Another Youtuber of whom this video comes, does basic,
basic work in the bible to debunk the claims of the other. This post isn't an endorsement. However, I find it helpful and accessible for those who question the importance of knowing your bible (Hebrews 5:11-6:2)
Being a disciple of Jesus isn't about your closet relationship with God and subject to customizing the faith to "your truth", but we must be conformed to His truth (Romans 12:1, 2)
3John 1:8 I wrote something to the church, but Diotrephes, who loves to have first place among them, a does not receive our authority.
