Many coaches claim they are working in this manner but in reality very few truly are. Below are a few questions to ask yourself. Also this isn't meant to say this is the best way to train. I merely want there to be a better understanding.

1. Do you have a Game Model?
Your club needs to sit down and have thorough conversations about how you want your team to play. This means taking into account your club's history, the city you play in, your players' abilities, facilities, and many other factors.

2. Planning exercises and sessions - Game Model
Every exercises must reflect your Game Model. Do you see your preferred way of playing within each exercise or are they just random drills? Do you see each moment of the game within each exercise?

Does each exercise contain an element of the four pillars of the game? There is not such thing as a technical exercise or tactics day in a holistic approach. Certain exercises can have a bias but all are still present
