On this day in 2007: CZW presented their 8th Anniversary Show, headlined by this infamous match.

To set the scene: Justice Pain was the CZW Champion, a decision that had many fans wondering why the company couldn't move beyond the year 1999.

Him and Gage always had good matches together so at least we'll get a quality anniversary main event.

...except Gage was not in a good place at the time and showed up with his head bandaged up & already bleeding.

Pain had come out earlier in the show to hype up how great the main event was going to be so the crowd were virtually silent as they waited for something good to happen

After 9 minutes of nothing, Justice Pain had enough of trying to get something out of his brother and simply dunked him with the Pain Thriller out of nowhere and pinned him.

A table sat in the ring, unused.

Fans were stunned.

After a few minutes, Justice Pain re-emerged from the back saying that it wasn't his fault Gage was concussed so all those people chanting BULLSHIT can pick his challenger right now.

Crowd unanimously chants for Drake Younger

Drake had wrestled a Panes Of Glass match earlier on the show but was gaining such a strong following that the booing crowd start losing their minds when his music starts playing.

They're brawling in the crowd, Younger's nailing piledrivers on the concrete, the crowd's chanting CZW and THIS IS AWESOME and DRAKE and everything's alright with the world

Justice Pain decides things are going too well and figures now's a good times to try and kill Drake Younger

Drake no-sells a broken neck and Justice Pain is so relieved he throws a bucket of thumbtacks into his face and dunks him with the Pain Thriller to end the second main event.

Justice Pain and Zandig put over Drake to end the show and this is pretty much the moment Younger became a CZW Mother F'N Megastar as all people were talking about afterwards was how shit the event was and how great Drake was.

and that's that.
