we don't exist perpetually in agreement or alignment with others. if seemingly so, examine the depth or quality of the connection with self & other. the agreement is likely an illusion more than a truth. it could be a person's framing of compatibility when there's little.
human's are crafty critters. they are mostly unaware of their motivations, unconsciously forcing attachments to whomever they feel can fulfill their needs. it takes pretty shrewd self-awareness to not be flattered into feelings that end up to be fleeting.
it takes time to wait for then recognize true compatibility. we often know what we like, we rarely acknowledge what we need, or who would be truly compatible with all of our quirks. we see easy compatibility when, in fact, true compatibility is tricky & pretty rare.
