Dinakrusna Das was a contemporary poet during Gajpati Divyasinghadeva-I and wrote 2 famous Odiaa kavyas- Rasabinoda and Rasakallola along with many other works.

Kavisurya Brahma Sadananda was a poet and scholar during the reign of Gajpati Birakishoredeva.His disciple Abhimanyu Samantsinghar was also a great scholar and has many works of Vaishnavite lore in his credit like Premakanta,Premachintamani,Rasabati and Bidagha Chintamani.

Bhupati Pandit was poet during Gajpati Divyasingha-I's reign.He migrated from Bengal,settled in Odisa and learnt Odiaa.He wrote Prema Panchamruta.

Dinakrusna Das also praised Divyasingh-I as a noble king who gave shelter to people feeing from neighboring kingdoms.

Kunjabihari Brahmarvar described Divyasingha-I as a worshipper of cows and Brahmins and upholder of law and order in his kingdom,in his work Premashila.

Biswambar Das Pattnaik wrote Bichitra Bharata where he had praised Gajpati Birakishoredeva.

Pitambar Das,Chaitanya Das,Haldhar Das(nephew of Khordha Gajpati Mukundadev),Mahadev Das,Maheswar Das,Biswanath Khuntia,Krishna Singh(king of Dharakot),Krupasindhu Das were some of the famous Purana writers during the reign of Khordha Gajpatis.

Shyamasundar deva,son of Gajpati Birakishoredeva wrote Anuraga Kalpalata.
