Time for a quick lore history lesson that may or may not have to do with anything this season.

When Auryx and his sisters realized they were getting screwed they devised a plan to kill a Worm God, Auryx would kill Xivu and Savathûn then take the strength and kill Akka.
When he killed them he killed them specifically in HIS Throne World, Savathûn actually tried to turn the tables, and had she Oryx would never have been for Auryx would have died forever died that day, but Auryx was craftier than Savathûn and killed her still.
After defeating Akka, who wasn't upset but rather pleased with this outcome, Auryx became Oryx, claimed the title of Taken King as well as the Geometer and declared that he would have direct access to the Deep, instead of needing the Worm Gods as middle... worms.
Later Oryx made trickery and in that Trickery Savathûn rose and he made war and in that War Xivu rose. People incorrectly believed they died forever died because when he killed them they were called "true deaths" but they weren't forever deaths, as I mentioned they died in...
Oryx's Throne, not their own. A death anywhere bit their own Throne sends them TO their Throne, which Xivu even mentions being exactly what happened.

So what did Oryx do? He summoned them from their Thrones with Trickery and War. In The Dark Below, Crota, the Eater of Hope...
Was being summoned by his Eyes and Hand and Might and Mate wreaking havoc across the Earth and Moon, consuming our hope.

So... if someone for whatever reason wanted to summon Xivu Arath? Well, they make war.
