A few entrepreneurial superpowers that aren’t talked about enough.

A thread.
Many high performers are assholes.

Being able to work with and manage difficult people puts you at a huge advantage.
Fear, pride, anger, excitement cloud your ability to make sound, logical decisions.

Making non-emotional decisions with impartial information is a superpower.
Saying in 30 seconds what other people say in 3 minutes.

Or in say in 3 sentences what others say in 3 paragraphs.

Clear, concise communication wins every single time.
Being likable.

People do business with people they like. Period.

Leading by fear doesn’t work.
Sales.

Every leader’s main job is selling their vision and their ideas.

Hiring, managing, leading - it’s all SALES.
Being able to change your mind.

And surrounding yourself with folks who challenge you and aren’t afraid to speak up.
Saying NO.

Saying yes is easy. Turning down opportunities to remain focused on the main thing I’d the key.

You sometimes have to step over pennies to pick up dollars.
Being humble enough to get in the trenches and do the work.

Too many leaders (especially early on) are afraid to do what is necessary to win.

If your company has less than 5 people, a player-coach > coach.
