I was a tad concerned about how it would go... and then I reminded myself that it is almost 47 yrs old. I also spoke with a group of residents before lunch to prepare them for it being a little bit naughty..
One resident said to me "Sex isn't naughty"

and another one said " It's only silhouetted sex, there's a curtain up" (so that resident obviously knew the movie well)
Around 2:00 p.m our movie started ... and I watched the reactions ..

watch the movie. The resident who said sex isn't naughty came up to me at least three times and said I wasn't allowed to ever choose a movie again ... BUT he never left the room ... like he does other times he doesn't like a movie. He was actually enjoying it but I think

just didn't get the storyline (but let's face it not everybody does).

When the Time Warp came on.. I grabbed the hand of a *young* 83 yr old woman and we danced. She kept saying how Tim Curry was so brave to take

rolling , The Time Warp instrumental came on ... but my 83 yr old friend and I thought the words were coming to instruct us what to do so we went running up in front of the TV to dance.. only there were no words..
So the DON and the Admin manager came in and we started

the DVD again and fast forwarded to The Time Warp ... and As many people who could ... get to their feet did .. and we ALL did The Time Warp. When the Time Warp finished we looked on Youtube for other dances .... and we did THE TWIST ,,, as best as we could ..

we did the Hokey Pokey .
oh the smiles, the giggles, the Jiggles and the wiggles, the sheer enjoyment and pleasure. Those who couldn't dance laughed and smiled and cheered people on.
I can not find the words to tell the tale of just how much fun we all had.
