I think, in these perilous times, and they are -- the unfolding RW cloud of evil has merely been been stuttered here at best -- there must be personal imperatives we can adopt to better help us cope with it and push back against it.

If each of us is working from a similar set of core values, rather than trying to align on exact ideas, those ideas will align by themselves, organically.

It's about transposing a scientific and mathematical standard onto the information we gather and disseminate -- aka "critical thinking" -- and discipline ourselves to take note of our sources and platforms.

The scientific approach is simple really. It's just seeking truth.
Challenge information. Ask for sources/citations.
Block known bad sources.
And the math is simply -- does something make sense, yes or no?

We're still in the crosshairs of an information war. Some things that make sense, others will impose nonsense onto until more and more agree that the nonsense is what makes sense. It never does and that technique is a form of gaslighting that is unfortunately very effective.

It works because of a group-think inclination we apparently have. We tend to dislike conflict so much we'll go so far as to agree with things we know are wrong because everyone else says they're right.

All I can say there is don't be afraid to be the loner in the crowd who sticks with sourcing and facts vetted by simple thought math.
The more who understand that this is intentionally being done to keep us at odds, the better we are at negotiating it.

Always strive for truth. Follow it, no matter where it leads.

I could go on about these ideas for a very long time. They form the bedrock of literally *everything* I talk about every single day. But I'll stop on that for now and share just one more thing now that I think is helpful.

Accountability.
Justice, aka "fairness", is what these RW freaks are prying away from us in the name of greed.
The only way to achieve justice is through accountability.
