When people advocate for legal #prostitution I think they have a much too vanilla view of what it is men pay women to do or endure. For all the times' abolitionists are called "prudes", it's really a lot of "sex pozzies" who don't understand the extent of what they're endorsing.
Yes, a lot are just your regular father-of-two cheating on his wife or angry over a divorce looking for a woman maybe his own age, but usually younger, for some usual oral on him, then vaginal in various positions, it's over when he orgasms. Bad enough, but it gets worse.
You need to understand that legal #prostitution includes men legally paying to access women who are struggling with alcoholism or other addictions. This next part is often illegal (though it was legal for 15 years in Germany) but there is no one in the room to verify condom use and it isn't just that some men enjoy playing Russian roulette with lives, they have a disgusting fetish about "defiling" women with their ejaculate.
There are men who want to urinate and defecate onto and into women. Yes, it's a minority, but there's a market for it and if you endorse legal #prostitution this is included. There is always a woman desperate enough for money she has to put herself through this. Pure #misogyny.
Some men like knowing that others are abusing her long side him. This can be in the form of ordering a woman "pre-inseminated" or through "gang bangs" which are really #gangrape. They do this even to women who are pregnant, which is the next thing you don't realize you legalize.
The German government after 15 years of this just going on with little to no intervention illegalized advertising pregnant women, but they are still issuing licenses to pregnant women, except when they are 6 weeks from giving birth. This is LEGAL.
Everything on this list violates basic human rights, laws against harassment, humiliation, and bodily integrity, it violates protections of pregnant women, of women with mental and physical disabilities and suffering from addiction. All these eliminated as long as he pays for it.
I haven't even gone into the BDSM scene, where yes, a bunch of men like to be degraded and harmed themselves, which is their own bloody fault, but a lot like hurting women, too. In Germany, we call these women "sklavias" aka "slaves" because that is the role men want them to take
Here are things men can legally do to women in countries like Germany and New Zealand - as long as they pay:
- making woc act as slaves
- beating them till they are blue
- chocking them to the point of risking lasting injuries
- cutting into their skin
- non-lethal electro shocks

You can tell me all about how these things are fine when consensual (they are not, they are bodily and psychological harm regardless of consent), most men can't find women who want to do these things, which is why they pay for it. If you like women, you don't like hurting them.

So, if you support state-sanctioned #prostitution, you need to be okay with all of these things happening because no one has been able to prevent them for the many decades that we in Germany have tried various modes of regulation and deregulation (more New Zealand-style law).
