PETER Mandelson phoned Jeffrey Epstein while he was in jail said Channel 4’s Dispatches 2019. He was referred to by the pet name Petie during the call.

Then Blair's Labour Business Secretary, allegedly called to ask for help setting up a meeting with the boss of JP Morgan bank.

The friend of Epstein, who revealed the nickname, also told Channel 4’s Dispatches.

The revelations dragged Lord Mandelson, a confidant of Tony Blair and Gordon Brown, into the scandal surrounding the late Mr Epstein, who was jailed for child sex offences in 2008. Alastair Campbell is also listed in Epstein's book. #StarmerOut
