Now asking Stewart Golton, Lib Dem candidate for WY Mayor: will you commit to supporting community led housing in WY (examples include Canopy, LILAC, LATCH, CHACO), which provides the affordable housing that people need, and many other benefits? #builtenvironment
The answer: "Yes! Schemes like this will help create housing where LAs are struggling, and social businesses create jobs and economic benefits too". Thanks Stewart! #communityledhousing

The answer: "yes!" He knows people who live at @lilacleeds , thinks maybe we could get LAs to compete over supporting #communityledhousing and social housing
Says @clrandrewcooper : "seed funding is key to great projects like @EcoHolmesCLT @HoTTinHolmfirth #communityledhousing - Mayoral budget won't fund ALL costs of these, I would champion a funding competition to support schemes like this"
..and the answer from @TracyBrabin : "yes absolutely, this is the way forward, I want to talk to all housing groups about a joint approach". Great news for #communityledhousing in the region, support from 3 main candidates!
