There is a way Twitter forces everyone to take a binary thinking position on the #EndSARS
protests. Once you ask questions about the veracity of claims based on evidence, you are immediately a government apologists. People are forced to jettison thinking to fit into a side.

Yet, it is by asking critical questions of the claims made of the events that happened that night & the days after that one begins to get the impression that we were played.
The Army showing up, having the lights switched off and shooting was a dumb straregy.

As bad as that was, the claims of massacre have been found to be a lie. Almost all the images of dead persons shared that night as the consequence of the shooting were lies.
Who were the people sharing those photos? They must surely know that their lies would be found out.

Between when they shared those photos and when they were found to all be false, the significant event that happened was a license from the outrage of the 'killings' to destroy targeted properties in Lagos. It was a reprisal for the massacre that never happened.
On the night of the 20th of October, there was also a video shared on social media showing what was the name tags of the soldiers who were allegedly responsible for the massacre. Why would soldiers rip out their name tags and drop it on the floor after they had left?
Except someone came to the Lekki grounds with already prepared 'evidence' of name tags of soldiers with names sounding mostly like northerners.
Have you had time to think about it? It doesn't make any sense. Which tells me some people came to Lekki prepared to stage something.

That same night, I noticed an almost random but repeated call to hit certain targets linked to Bola Tinubu. In fact, there was a video posted on twitter of him being called on speaker phone.

Then there was another video of a man allegedly injured from gunshot wound who was being treated that night. Where is that guy?
This is important to ask now because the forensic report by the doctors who treated people said they extracted pellets & not bullets from the wounded.

If the soldiers claim that they fired blanks is matched by the forensic report of the doctors who said they extracted pellets that didn't come from their rifles, I am curious to ask who 'shot' that guy who was being treated. Was it staged? Was he shot be someone in the crowd?
There were so many lies told that night that one doesn't know what to believe; like the guy who died for Nigeria, who was actually alive and well away from the scene.
This was the reason why DJ Switch has to be interrogated since she refused to testify at the Judicial panel.

In a crowd of thousands of people, she was the only who saw what no one else saw. Even though she walked back from the 40 plus persons much of our media claimed were killed that night, she claimed that she personally carried several dead bodies and gave them to the soldiers.
No one born of a woman that night corroborated that claim. The two witnesses who had close encounters- including a journalist of the BBC- said they didn't see any dead body that night.
And in a crowd of thousands, no other camera phone footage or eye witness backed her claims.

Were the bodies thrown into the nearby lagoon? Surely those who shared footages across the water in ikoyi would have seen something. No one saw that. And the dead bodies would have emerged days after if they were dropped there. So what did they do with the body?
While one has to concede that the strategy of the army played a part in this crisis, claiming that you handed several dead bodies you carried to soldiers are very weighty allegations that should be substantiated- especially if you are the only participant and witness.
No one else saw the bodies being moved away. Not the people in Ikoyi across the water or those who live along Ozumba Mbadiwe as soldiers left the venue.
Truth should be variable.
DJ Switch didnt help her cause when she agreed to address an organization in Canada backed by IPOB.

The notion that one must either be pro massacre or anti massacre is one of the things I found distasteful about social media.
If you are unwilling to ask critical questions based on evidence because it may mean changing your mind, it is validation you seek and not the truth.
