1. Bangladesh High Court today (Justice Mozibur Rahman Miah) deferred its decision on an application to order government authorities to block/ban Al Jazeera documentary "All the Prime Minister's Men"
2. Instead it issued an order requesting a number of named senior lawyers (Amicus Curiae) to provide expert opinion on a numbers of issues relevant to the application. These include:
3. (a) whether order requested by the petitioner can be implemented on an international channel (b) whether any direction is needed from the court, for the regulator to block/ban film; and (c) whether necessary to pass order as film broadcast 10 days earlier. Next day, Feb 15th
