My own take on Blue Sky's closure. I know it's been struggling for a LONG time now, and I kind of hoped at the very least, it'll last long enough until Nimona's complete. Alas, that wasn't the case. 1/ ?)

First and foremost, I pray for the best for the artists and animators who worked there. Whether it be within the other studios (as is being planned), or moving to other studios, I pray that they find the success that they deserve.
It also frustrates me, that now that it's gone, just NOW that people on "animation twitter" appreciate what Blue Sky has done, after YEARS on taking a dump on them and the work they did. It's half the reason why I hate 'hating' studios. People work on them to ya know? 3/?)
@AniMat505 made an excellent thread on how they influenced animation for the better. And I for one, appreciate that a LOT. Heck, I STILL consider the first Ice Age an all-time animation classic. It showed the Blue Sky that COULD have been. 4/?)
