I've been thinking about the "Free Speech" whingers in the LNP & how hypocritical they are.
There's been a few tweets showing LNP members asking The Chair "I move that the member no longer be heard" which cuts them off.
It's been around since 1905 when the "Closure of Member" Standing Order was introduced. PM Deakin said at the time "The new standing order need rarely, if ever, be used for party purposes, and never, I trust, will its application be dictated by partisan motives."
