I hope everyone is enjoying the Jets/Flames game so far. I hope you’re all ready for a little stream of consciousness thread about TSN 1290 coming from me here.

First of all, there is no other way to say it but today was a very difficult day for a lot of people. I am so sorry to all of the talented, hardworking people who have lost their jobs at TSN 1290 Radio here in Winnipeg, TSN 1040 Radio in Vancouver and TSN 1150 Radio in Hamilton.

Illegal Curve was the first live program on Sports Radio1290. November 2010 was when we started and we recently celebrated 10 years on the station. Richy, Drew, Dave, Remis and I will be forever greatful to Chris Brooke, Chris Stevens and Raccoon Carney for believing in us.

I would like to thank everyone who has been involved with the station over the last 10 years. It was an honour and privilege to work alongside @TheSassor @hustlerama @RickRalphTSN @mremis @garylawless @JimTothSports @TroyWestwood @Brandon_Rewucki @SportsKevinO @BrianMunzTSN

Now I can’t begin to thank all of the people who texted/emailed/messaged Drew, Dave and I today. I will try to get back to everybody but I want you to know that we feel the love and we truly appreciate it.
