1. Daily meditation. Just 5 mins/day can help make you more aware of your thoughts, empowering you to sit with uncomfortable feels without them controlling you. This teaches you how to RESPOND to a situation, instead of REACTING to it. (2/5)
2. Journal. Get your feelings out in a safe, PRIVATE space. Regularly losing it on twitter will lose you future opportunities. If you need support, DM friends directly. If you're really struggling, seek support from therapists/help lines. (3/5)
3. Get rejected… A LOT! They say actors land 1 in every 100 auditions, so put yourself out there so you can get used to the feeling. Rejection is as much a part of the job as auditioning, training, or invoicing. THERE'S NO SHAME IN REJECTION! (for the ppl in the back) (4/5)
Rejection Resilience must be practiced DAILY. U can’t just meditate when u don’t land a gig, or journal once a month. Practice it as much as u would ur acting. IT
IS
A
SKILL
It takes time but you will get better. (5/5)
