@MrBeastYT: I started making yt vids when I was 13. I'm coming up on 10 yrs. In the beginning they sucked. I got to 250K subs with my iPhone and couldn't afford a cam. it's been a relentless obsession.

Q from Samir: How do you think about the first minutes of the video?
@MrBeastYT: The first minute is where your viewer is still deciding if they are going to watch fully. If you have an amazing beginning your retaining 15% more of your audience and it's better for the viewer.

@MrBeastYT: It starts with relentless brainstorming, there is always a better idea. You want to do something that no one has seen before. A lot of vids now take months of logistic work.

Q from Colin: The thumbnail is a unique thing on yt, can you talk us through what you think when choosing a thumbnail?
@MrBeastYT: 10% CTR is high on YT. And when you really think about it that's still 9 out of 10 people choosing NOT to click.

@reedjd_: Jimmy actually found me. When he was around 1.8M subs, which sounds crazy rn.
When I met him he told me I would get to 10M before the end of the year. Right from meeting him I knew he thought differently than anyone else.
