The events were the *third* outcry since Dec. and a natural response to months of neglect and human rights violations. After reports of poor health, unsafe conditions and a lack of protocols to stop the spread of #COVID, the focus must be the safety of imprisoned people. (2/3)
I am pleased that rather than focusing on prosecuting the protestors, @StLouisCityCA Kim Gardner has decided to launch an investigation into the conditions that led to the protests.
