Look, people keep asking what makes Brady the best, and not just the greatest. As a fan of the TEAM THAT JUST LOST, allow me to explain.

FIRST OFF - greatest = best. They’re fucking synonyms. Stop acting uneducated.

The winning, the 200+ records (this is a record), rings,
the consistent dominance and the drop off of his teams when he isn’t present. It is all insane.

People talk about arm strength. I don’t get it. He holds unofficial NFL records for distance in air (07 SB inc to Moss), and velocity (obviously many throws) & still hits those today
In other words, while some might match the distance and velocity he’s displayed, none surpass it (there are physical limits in football, and baseball, for how fast a human can throw. Distance is similar also). A lot of NFL guys can match distance and velocity.
When it comes to accuracy, only a handful of guys have exhibited the kind of elite accuracy that Tom has. Brady, Brees, Aaron, and Peyton are all as accurate as eachother. You’re truly splitting hairs with them. None of the four is the “most accurate” and no, Comp % =\\= accuracy.
Inside of the pocket, nobody has ever been as graceful, nor felt the pressure/ had a pocket presence like TB12. They just haven’t . His ability to sense the pressure, adjust protection and avoid is is second to none. Granted outside, guy is graceful, but slow as all hell.
The art of the audible is something only two guys have been considered to have truly mastered; the rivals Brady & Manning. Considering the difference in weapons - Peyton always having elite weapons, and Tom having had a streak of ~10 szn without one, got to give the edge to Tom.
That being said - either way both were amazing at that.

There is nobody as good at reading defenses pre and post snap, understanding matchups, and knowing what can and will happen on each and every play. His drive, brain, and charisma set him apart.
In one season alone, Tom took the most losing franchise ever and won the SB. They were a joke with discipline. He is a coach on the field, and his experience makes him the ultimate locker room presence.
The only knock on him is his running. Even when he throws on the run, the throwing isn’t typically the issue, it’s getting to the spot. He isn’t an acrobat, doesn’t try the crazy shit Mahomes does, and is a calculated risk taker. He’s able to and has changed arm angles like any1.
Tom Brady is far and away the best player ever, and this past Sunday showed us this. Ability to scramble doesn’t change that. His intelligence and intangibles are worth more than somebodies ability to scramble. Reality is he was the best sunday, and is the best ever. Period.
