This week is National Apprenticeship week 2021 & every year this comes round it always amazes me how far I've come since joining Capgemini as an apprentice in 2014. When I joined aged 18, I had no experience of coding & just a passion for IT & all things technology #NAW2021 1/5

When I joined @Capgemini back in 2014, I joined a development team as a software engineer with no experience. 6 years on, I am now a Software Architect who leads my own development team

I will never pretend that working full-time & completing a degree at the same time wasn't hard, it was tough but an utterly rewarding 5 years. I now have an amazing career @Capgemini & wouldn't have had such an accelerated career without completing my degree apprenticeship 4/5
Now 6 years on, I have achieved so much. 4 promotions, a 1st in my degree & a role I never thought I'd have leading a team so early in my career aged 25. Not to mention the fun I've had & people I've met along the way! If I went back in time I'd join Capgemini all over again 5/5
