Current squad is not only better but has more depth. Emery had to bring Guendouzi, Willock, Iwobi in an Europa League final while Martinelli, Ceballos, Ødegaard, Aubameyang/Pepe, Willian, Nketiah, Mari/Gabriel/Luiz are available on the bench.

Maybe I can give Arteta the benefit of the doubt that Partey was injured in the first half of the season and we had no creative mid until Late December costing us atleast 9-10 points in our 2 months barren spell, those points which if we had won, we would’ve been in Top 4 atm.

But if you tell me Emery had a better squad than Arteta then you're just bullshitting. Man almost got Top 4 and an European trophy with flops like Mustafi, Kolasinac, Mkhitaryan, Iwobi & a finished Koscielny.
