An Open Letter to Chris. A Thread.

Ok, all anger aside, and there's a lot of that, enough is enough Chris. Enough. Please.
This continual ability of not listening to the engineering workforce and putting more pressure and stress on our mental health just isnt fair.

Yesterday..
2. you say you're confused and dont understand the detrimental effects yet on friday you said you understand how tough it is. So which is it? Either way, its too late. It's over. Such a lack of decisiveness, integrity, thought leadership and an inability to listen to the people
3. who make this great company what it is means youve shown you're not the man for the job. And thats ok. Its a tough job.

It's your prerogative to blame the union but in doing so youre also indirectly insulting the workforce that we dont have the ability to think for ourselves.
4. Thats the same workforce who you've taken to breaking point. You're kicking about peoples emotions like a wet tracky top. It's not fair. Forget the contracts and the business for a second and look, and for the love of Peter Frampton, LISTEN to what engineers are saying.
5. We wont be forced to sign something because you keep regurgitating votes. That isnt a business strategy.

So I guess this is actually a bit of a plea. Step off and let someone with experience and know how do the job. There is a person out there who can lead.
6. Someone who can lift spirits and re-energise a workforce that is dead on its feet. Someone who understands the importance of trust and rewards people with the same time to spend with their family/friends that they signed up for.

It's just not you.
