Made some Illinois vaccine progress charts at 2 a.m.!
First time playing with this data so I'm open to suggestions at better presentation. I know a chart that only goes upwards isn't super helpful as time goes on, but it's a good baseline exercise.

Illinois is doing better than we were a week/two weeks ago according to the @nytimes vaccine rollout tracker, which compares states (and territories). Instead of being 47th among states, we're now 35th when it comes to number of first doses administered. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/us/covid-19-vaccine-doses.html
Among large states (Illinois is the sixth-largest state), we're in the middle when it comes to first-dose vaccine distribution. Texas and Pennsylvania are behind us; New York/California/Florida are ahead of us.
Long-term care facility vaccines going a bit faster too.
CVS-partnered skilled nursing facilities are 91% done with their second of three vaccine clinics (89% done within Chicago)
CVS-partnered assisted living facilities: 62% done with first clinic/48% done w second in Chicago.

For more on why Illinois' assisted living facilities didn't start getting visits from the Walgreens/CVS federal partnership til after other states (and after the city of Chicago), my story from a couple weeks ago: https://www.nprillinois.org/post/pritzker-cvswalgreens-point-fingers-over-long-term-care-facility-vaccine-program
General screenshots on vaccine allocation, administration etc from @IDPH.
What I'd really like to do is be able to consistently compare allocation versus administration, but I'm not sure that's possible with data delays.
