Today, expect to see:

— Four-hour debate over whether the Constitution allows the Senate to try a president who has already left office.

If the measure passes, the trial will proceed with up to 16 hours per side to present their case beginning Wednesday.

— Each side gets two days to present. Presentations can't exceed eight hours.
— After presentations, senators have a total of four hours to question both sides.
Next:

— There will be four hours divided equally between the parties for arguments on whether the Senate will consider motions to subpoena witnesses and documents.
— Then, closing arguments (up to four hours), along with deliberation time if requested by Senators.
