But we don't have these staff, and staff from other areas of the hospital have stepped up to help out. Together, NHS staff on ICUs are doing over a million hours a week of extra work. 3/5
We need to ensure that at the end of pandemic, we return to safe staffing levels, to ensure patient safety is prioritized. 4/5
This document is about how we return to normal in a phased fashion, protecting patient safety, and staff wellbeing. Many of the staff are suffering from PTSD and Moral Injury and unless we treat , we wont have them as colleagues and patients wont have them to treat them. 5/5
