Mason Mount thread (by @CFCMouu)
Mason Mount has impressed in his second season as a part of the first team, despite playing in many different positions such as a holding midfielder, or an attacking midfielder. And he is slowly becoming one of the most liked players at the club.
His improvement has shown on the attacking and defending parts of his game. Mason completes 60% of his dribbles and improvement from last season’s 56%. He also plays about 20 more passes a game, which shows his important role in Chelsea’s buildup play.
Mount also plays 2.5 key passes a game, an improvement from his 1.4 last season, Mount has also kept a pass accuracy of 87% this season.
And on the defensive side, Mason gets 1.1 interceptions per game, a huge improvement from his 0.4 interceptions last season. As well as putting in 2.2 tackles which is also a massive improvement from his 1 tackle last season.
Finally, Mason last season won 39% of his duels (aerial and ground) while this season he wins 46% of his duels.
Mason Mount is becoming one of the best and most consistent players at the club, making it hard for Tuchel to keep him out of the starting 11.
