Since its February, PSF wants to clarify some important things/issues/facts regarding Operation Swift Retort

Many people believe that PAF JF-17 Thunders shot down IAF jets (1x Mig-21 Bison & 1x Su-30MKI) using its SD-10 BVRM. 1/N

Since DGPR said that Pakistan didn't used F-16s.

Well the fact is that Operation Swift Retort was actually to strike 6x Indian Military installations using SOW. Ops Swift Retort strike package included JF-17 Thunders & Mirages.

JF-17 Thunder used REK (Takbeer Bombs) 2/N

while Mirages used H-4 bombs.

Striking Indian Military installations was Operation Swift Retort & DG ISPR said that F-16s weren't used in striking Indian Military installations.

PAF F-16s shot down 2x IAF jets (Using AMRAAM AIM-120C) when they tried to chase the strike 3/N

package (JF-17 Thunders & Mirages) when they were returning to home (Base) after successfully striking Indian Military installations.

Moreover there was no pressure from US on using F-16s against any agrresor. That's obvious that if Pakistan has F-16s. PAF will use them 4/N

in time of need.

We really hope that this clarifies the use of F-16s, JF-17 Thunders & Mirages on 27th February 2019. Keep in mind that in modern day combat single aircraft can't do much. It's the package 5/N

(Combination of different assets) which gets the job done.
